Jana Stanton has varied professional experiences as a CBT and Hypnotherapy practitioner with a rigorous academic grounding. Working as a therapist within both the public (NHS – Royal Brompton Hospital) and private sectors, has allowed her to work with as broad a client base as possible, and develop a particular expertise and passion for helping people with mainly pain management, anxiety, addictions, self-confidence and depression. Jana is also a fluent Czech speaker and can speak Czech or English fluently in therapy.
In 2006, Jana began to pursue her life-long interest by studying general psychology at Westminster Kingsway College, Clinical Hypnotherapy at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and MSc in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (RECBT) at the Goldsmiths University supervised by renowned CBT therapist and an author Prof. Windy Dryden.
Jana is an accredited member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) and a member (working towards accreditation) of both the Association of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT) and The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
